Drew Ferguson Scholarship Drive

Drew Ferguson was the first president for The Alabama Athletic Trainers Association (ALATA), and one of its official founders in 1992. Drew had a lifelong impact on athletic training in the state. He served as an athletic trainer at Children's of Alabama and UAB. He also held positions in the ALATA, the Alabama High School Athletic Association, and the Alabama Board of Athletic Trainers. He had a strong love for the profession and mentoring its young aspiring professionals. Considering his passion and advocacy for athletic training, combined with the support of his wife Diane, the Drew Ferguson Scholarship Fund was created to assist athletic training students and young professionals. ALATA is a non-profit 501(c)3, and all charitable donations are tax deductible.

The scholarship drive will be open from October 7th, until November 1st at 5:00PM. Our goal for the drive is to raise $10,000 in Drew Ferguson's name.

After the initial donation period, this scholarship will become an annual award.
