Scholarship Eligibility
All applicants must meet the following criteria:

A cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above

Be sponsored by a certified athletic trainer who is a current member in good standing with the Alabama Athletic Trainers’ Association and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association

Be a student member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and Alabama Athletic Trainers' Association

Be enrolled in a CAATE-accredited Athletic Training Program in the state of Alabama (*Bachelor's Degree Applicants*)

*Bachelor's Degree candidates must be at least a Junior in good standing*

Intend to pursue the profession of athletic training or related field as a means of his/her livelihood

Submit a transcript including most recent semester

Submit a letter of recommendation from someone other than the supervising athletic trainer

Submit a one-page biographical description including a statement as to why he or she feels that they should be awarded the scholarship

Have his or her supervising athletic trainer complete the Sponsoring Athletic Trainer's Evaluation Form (automatically emailed up application submission)

Agree to photograph published in the ALATA Newsletter, an ALATA A-Blast, and/or on the ALATA website

Note - Preference may be given to those NOT currently on full scholarship
